This Request for Proposal ("RFP") is an invitation by The Corporation of the Town of Newmarket (the "Owner") to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with the provisions described in the Evaluation and Selection section of this RFP (Part 2) for future eligibility to provide construction services for the proposed Mulock park further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). There will be two Stages to this process as follows: Phase I - A non-binding request for proposal to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with the provisions described in the Evaluation and Selection section of this RFP (Part 2) for eligibility to participate in a future non-binding invitational second stage competitive procurement process to provide the Deliverables for the construction project as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). Phase II - A future non-binding invitational second stage competitive procurement process to be issued to all the pre-qualified contractors, which were selected as a result of Phase I, for the eligibility to provide the Deliverables, if selected, based on the evaluation process for Phase II. Only one (1) pre-qualified contractor will be selected as a result of Phase II. Construction cost is currently expected to range between $40 million and $50 million.
