Historically Underutilized Businesses are encouraged to participate; however, the firm must be certified by the Office for Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB Office) through the Statewide Uniform Certification (SWUC) program. Project Description:
This project will develop a new campus for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human
Services with the relocation of DHHS functions currently located on the Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh,
North Carolina. This Phase I project will consist of 440,000 GSF of high-rise office space, a structured
parking deck, and a central energy plant. The project includes associated site and utility infrastructure
to serve the new buildings, the structured parking deck, and the campus site.
This Package A work is for the Office Tower and includes landscaping, hardscape, final site work,
masonry and drywall walls, all architectural finishes (ornamental stairs and railings, doors and
hardware, ceilings, flooring, tile, terrazzo, specialties and markerboards, signage, operable partitions,
demountable partitions) and Building MEP Systems (plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, HVAC, HVAC
Controls, Electrical, Telecommunications, Audio Visual and Security)
