The contract was awarded to WS Coliseum. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of West Springfield is seeking proposals for the development and operation of a Marijuana Retail Store (RFQ #23-0007). The Town seeks to obtain information and qualify applicants for the purpose of negotiation and execution a Host Community Agreement for the operation of a Marijuana Retail Store in accordance with applicable laws and regulation. For this RFQ, the Town will select up to two (2) qualified Marijuana Retail applicants to proceed to negotiations. This RFQ is intended to provide a public selection process, however it is non-binding and is not issued pursuant to MGL c. 30B. Participation in the RFQ is required for Marijuana Retail applicants that want to locate within the Town. Each proposal submittal in response to the RFQ will be evaluated by a Retail Marijuana Advisory Group, as designated by the Mayor. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject, in part or in whole, any and all proposals or to take whatever acon may be deemed in the best interest of the Town of West Springfield.
