The intend of this RFP (Request for Proposal) is to engage a general contractor or mechanical Respondent(s) to upgrade the existing HVAC system located at MPAC's (Municipal Property Assessment Corporation) Hamilton office located at Unit 201, 657 Upper James St., Hamilton, ON L9C 5R8. The Successful Respondent(s) will complete the scope of work outlined in Appendix I, Issued for Tender (IFT) drawings prepared by MCW Consultants Ltd. The scope includes the following: - Modifications to the existing Zonex zoned system with an upgrade to Zonex Gen II; and - The installation of this new building automation system: - Will enable MPAC's Facility Management Operations team to make remote adjustments to the Hamilton office HVAC. The project will be scheduled upon award and intended to be completed and invoiced by December 31, 2022. PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVE(S): Respondents are to reference Appendix I MCW Consultants Ltd., Issued for Tender (IFT) drawings for all specifications and complete scope of work. The Successful Respondent(s) will be the primary project contact and coordinate all work and any sub-trades associated for the successful completion of the office's HVAC upgrade. Day time work is acceptable, MPAC's business hours are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., our offices are currently open to staff however closed to the public, by appointment only. Local staff will be notified of the project schedule, Respondents should anticipate some staff will be working in the office or accessing the office for resources during MPAC business hours.
