The City is seeking proposals from a qualified engineering firm to provide sanitary sewer modeling, water system modeling and related work. The goal of the project is to analyze the City's water and sanitary sewer system to evaluate existing conditions, identify future CIP projects to improve the City's water and sanitary sewer networks, develop a master plan and provide current data for higher accuracy mapping of the City's existing networks. The City's existing mapping can be viewed omline. Extensive field work is anticipated to map and model the existing water and sewer systems and provide an accurate map of the City's existing water and sanitary sewer networks. The proposal shall include work identified by the applicant to create a sound model of the City's existing system i.e., flow monitoring, potholing, etc. Goals 1. Survey and map the City's existing water and sanitary sewer system including all valves, hydrants, manholes, lift stations and other appurtenances located on City maintained lines. 2. Hydraulic modeling and analysis of the water and wastewater systems. 3. Identify water and sewer mains that are causing poor service and/or limiting development, and locations an improvement would be beneficial. 4. Based on the City's land-use map identify projects that would best serve future growth. Deliverables 1. Autocad (.DWG) file and PDF of the water and sanitary sewer system with sizes and appurtenances properly layered and labeled. 2. CSV point file with survey point data on state plane coordinates - PNEZD format 3. GIS map of the City's water and sewer networks 4. Water system hydraulic model 5. Sanitary Sewer system hydraulic model 6. Water System Masterplan including analysis of the City's existing system and identifying future projects that will improve service for existing property owners and best serve the City's growth. 7. Sanitary Sewer System Masterplan including analysis of the City's existing system and identifying capital improvement projects that will improve service for existing property owners and best serve the City's growth. PROJECT AREA Sanitary sewer modeling will include the city limits of Newcastle, OK. Water system modeling will include the city limits of Newcastle, OK, as well as flow demand inputs for the four (4) surrounding communities the City provides water. The City will provide historical monthly meter data for three communities. The fourth one is under construction and will be assumed inputs based off the plan.
