Site work for a water / sewer project in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
WATER DISTRIBUTION - Bathtub Row/Nectar/Peach (Public Works Road Project) This will be a joint project between DPU and the Public Works Department to reconstruct the roadways and replace waterlines and sewer lines in Bathtub Row, Peach Street and Nectar Street in Los Alamos. The waterlines were installed in the 1950s and are in poor condition. The sewer lines are vitrified clay and are poorly constructed in Bathtub Row. This project is in included in the County of Los Alamos FY 2023 - Adopted Budgets. As of October 21, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
