This project was awarded to Tapani Inc. The bid opening will be conducted in accordance with the latest recommendations provided by the Washington State Department of Health. As a minimum, the recommendations at the Washington State Coronavirus website will be followed. Do not lick bid envelopes; seal with a moistened towel. After submitting your bid, return to your vehicle until the bid opening at 11:00 a.m. Bidders are encouraged to send people not considered to be in "higher-risk groups" by the Washington State Department of Health. People over 60, those who are immune-compromised, and/or those with underlying chronic medical conditions are at higher risk of having serious complications from COVID-19. Bidders are encouraged to send people that are not sick with a cough, sneezing, and/or fever. Attendees are encouraged to take the following precautions to prevent possible transmission before, during, and after the bid opening: Wash hands often with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Cough and sneeze into the elbow or a tissue. Practice social distancing. Stay 6 or more feet away from people. Frequently clean and disinfect surfaces in your home and workplaces. If alternate submittal and/or opening procedures/accommodations than those shown above are needed by any bidder for health or safety reasons, submit a request to Don Carney, Capital Projects Manager, at dcarney@ci.tumwater.wa.us Contractor shall perform all work and furnish all tools, materials, supplies, equipment, labour and other items incidental thereto necessary for the construction and completion of the work, more particularly described as the Preserve Park project. The Project includes site grading, construction of pigmented cement concrete pavement, fibber reinforced cement concrete pavement, cement concrete sidewalk, basketball court including striping, electrical service cabinet and wiring to picnic shelter for lighting and electrical outlets, ADA curb ramps to play areas, landscaping, irrigation, cement concrete block seat wall, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications, all in accordance with the Contract Documents ("Work").
