Sewer Trunkline Cleaning: The sewer trunk line along Buena Vista Road from White Lane to McCutchen Road and on McCutchen Road between Buena Vista Road and Gosford Road has extensive sediment and crust build up which negatively impacts the flow and capacity of the pipe. This is a critical sewer trunk line that serves a significant portion of the west side of Bakersfield. This project will clean the sewer line with hydro-capacity. Phase 1, completed in FY 21, cleaned the McCutchen line segment from Old River Road to Buena Vista Road. Allocation of $1,463,000 funds the 2 nd phase of the project, focusing on the section on Buena Vista Road between White Lane and McCutchen Road. This project is included in the City of Bakersfield's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of October 25, 2022, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Funding is anticipated in 2022/2023.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
