Renovation of a medical facility in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The automatic transfer switch (ATS) serving the essential electrical system 1EPU is in the Moffitt Hospital firstfloor electrical room designated 1M15. The existing ATS-1EPU was installed with the building's original construction and is past its useful life. The existing ATS equipment has operational deficiencies in automatically transferring load to backup power sources during an event of grid power disruption. The scope of this project is to replace the existing ATS-1EPU with new, code-compliant equipment. Replacement of the equipment requires a phased approach to maintain operations, including the installation of a temporary ATS. The estimated construction cost for the project is $1,500,000.00. Once registered, prospective bidders can log on to Building Connected and retrieve Prequalification Questionnaire by project name and number.
