The City reserves the right to extend the contract for two (2) additional one-year periods, provided agreement to do so is reached between the City and the Supplier. The City has been increasingly active in addressing environmentally acceptable methods for disposal of the waste generated through its infrastructure maintenance programs. In 2006, the city constructed a Waste Decant Station to effectively separate the liquid and solid component of its maintenance-generated waste, primarily storm sewer grit from cleaning
