The Successful Proponent will be responsible for the following scope of work: The Successful Proponent is to design, supply and install an irrigation system, including providing any and all labour, material, equipment, buildings, or facilities required to facilitate a functioning automated irrigation system with weather sensor integration to current standards. The proposed system will include a cellular/application interface. Perform a complete condition assessment of the existing system, including (but not limited to) the pumphouse building, the suction pipe from the pond and wet well, the VFDs, the electrical system, and the existing pumps and piping systems including irrigation mains, lines and sprinkler heads. Upon completion of the condition assessment, provide a recommendation of what requires replacement, and what may be salvaged to be used with the new equipment. It is expected that the suction pipe into the pumphouse may require replacement or rehabilitation, and to complete that work the pond will need to be pumped down (to be completed by Leduc Golf Club staff), but will only be permitted late in the season (September/October). Draining of the pond will not be permitted in spring/summer time due to water volume requirements for course operations. Should the Successful Proponent propose an alternate method such as a coffer dam, that will be acceptable, though no additional payment will be made for this outside of the proposed fees. It is expected that the existing irrigation lines that need to be replaced will be abandoned in place, and the existing sprinkler heads returned to the Leduc Golf Club. All demolished material is to be removed from site and properly disposed of. It is anticipated that the existing pumphouse building can be reused, but it will be the responsibility of the Successful Proponent for any modifications required to meet any current codes and ordinances. Any permitting required for the project is solely the responsibility of the Successful Proponent. Proponents are asked to include costs for a concrete surface floor during rehabilitation as part of their proposal. It is anticipated that an estimated 800 heads will be required to service the course including the driving range and all auxiliary areas. Any disturbed sod areas are to be restored with a sod that is certified drought-tolerant Bluegrass, Fescue and Perennial Ryegrass (mix will need to be submitted to the Golf Club for approval).
