The project consists of the crack sealing of the following roadways in the Town of Winfield, IN: - 117th Avenue from Randolph Street to West Town Limits (Colorado Street Extended) (Base Bid Segment A); - State St / 113th Ave / Benton St from 117th Ave to 109th Ave (Base Bid Segment B); - 104th Ave / Allen St / Benton St from Arizona St. to 101st Ave (Alternate Bid 1); Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form provided in the Project Documents, and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received (if issued), and satisfactory bid security. Bidders must be experienced in the construction of the type of facilities to be built under the Contract(s) for which a bid is submitted. Bidders and their subcontractors shall be INDOT prequalified to perform the work specified in these contract documents. Asphalt materials shall be supplied by an INDOT certified plant. Pursuant to Indiana Code 22-5-1.7-11, the Contractor entering into a contract with the Town of Winfield is required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all of its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. Pursuant to Indiana Code 5-22-16.5 the Town of Winfield may not contract with a person who is engaged in investment activities in Iran. In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the Owner will consider the Total Base Bid and/or any combinations of the total base bid and/or alternate bids made for the Contract. The Owner may also consider all other relevant facts mentioned in the Project Documents or which the Owner may legally consider. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Town deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
