Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Westchase, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

Demolishing, removing and disposing of pavers and associated base, site wall columns and footers, fountain and footer, fountain pump, bollards and light poles including footers, benches, tree removal including stump removal, existing vegetation and soils from existing planting areas to a depth of 18", storm lines and inlets, concrete pavement, curbing, and general excavation. Installing and maintaining sediment and erosion controls, including haybales. Rough grading to 18" below finish grade in landscape areas. Finish grading in all hardscape areas. Removal, storage and reinstallation of existing traffic signs, decorative signposts, and frames. Removal of entry sign and delivery to District, reinstallation of sign at project end. Installation of paver fields/bands and ADA ramps/ curbs and associated base. Installation of paver grates and tree rings at tree wells. Installation of catch basins and piping. Installation of District provided trash cans and benches. Maintaining backflow preventor to provide water for fountain installation. Electrical Work: Furnishing and installing electrical conduit and wiring, including new cabinet and controls, light pole foundations, light poles and fixtures, grounding rods, electrical conduit with pull tape, handholes and associated appurtenances for park light poles, bollards, landscape uplights and wiring. Installation of new light poles and globes to match community poles with locking 2- port outlet in the base. Provide power to fountain pump and lights. Furnish an in-ground electrical floor box. Assess all existing electrical systems on site; to maintain, update, or provide new routing if necessary. Landscape and Irrigation: Providing 18" planting soil backfill, plantings, mulch, and sod. Fine grading in planting areas. Installation of trees, shrubs, and groundcovers. Installation of tree staking and braces. Installation of protective root barriers. Installation of new irrigation components and connecting to existing irrigation system. Fountain Engineering and Construction: Preparing engineering design and construction drawings for proposed fountain. Procurement of fountain permit through all appropriate authorities having Jurisdiction including but not limited to Hillsborough County. Installation of Fountain - Including but not limited to: Fountain plumbing, Fountain Pump/vault installation, engineering, and all structural and electrical components. Installation of all special features associated with the fountain, including but not limited to lighting effects, wind control, and fountain jets. The proposed work will entail Demolition and Site Work, Electrical Work, Landscape and Irrigation, and Fountain Engineering and Construction. The work will be scheduled to be substantially completed by July 1, 2024.
