The Midway Sower District Lobby Remodel project includes. as shown on the plans and specifications, the demolition of existing case-work and walls. construction Of new walls, Casework, flooring, lighting and finishes. It also includes the replacement of all data wiring throughout the space. Bidders and other properly interested parties are invited to be present at the bid opening. Bids received after the time fixed for opening cannot be considered. The Work shall be substantially complete within 120 working days after the commencement date stat-ed in the Notice to Proceed which includes a $0-day submittal period followed by a 90-dnv construction period. All bidding and construction are to be performed in compliance with the Contract Drawings and Specifications for this project and any addenda issued thereto. Questions regarding the project shall be submitted to the Architect in writing email to Lee@driftmier.com. Bidders and/or contractors are notified to examine thoroughly the bid instructions, proposals, and the form of Contract and Specifications. If there is any doubt or obscurity as to the meaning of same, intending bidders or contractors should ask the Architect for an explanation before submitting their proposal and/or accepting their Contract. Each bid shall be accompanied be accompanied by a certified check. cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the "Midway Sewer District" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The three lowest bids 'nay not be withdrawn for 60 days after the day of bid opening. Midway Sewer District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informality in the bidding. Factors considered in the aware of the contract will include the bidders experience and performance on previous contracts similar in size and nature.
