Demolition and site work for a residential development in Kendall, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Description: The work for which bids are asked includes the following: demolition of the existing building at 206 White Street. Work is funded by the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program through Wisconsin Emergency Management and FEMA. We encourage Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), and Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit bid proposals. Additional Description: No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Brittney Mitchell, 1230 South Boulevard, Baraboo, WI 53913. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The work for this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor materials, tools, equipment, transportation, certificates, razing permit and temporary protection necessary for, or incidental to, the demolition of the existing structures as listed: 206 White Street - The project includes, but is not limited to: a. Demolition of existing structure and foundation; b. Utility disconnections, in accordance with utility requirements; c. Removal and disposal (or recycling) of all designated structure and interior contents; d. Remove and dispose (or recycle) of all scrap metal, concrete and other debris. e. Grading, seeding, fertilizer and mulch as necessary to obtain a uniform and substantial stand of grass. Work substantially completed on or before January 13, 2023 ; final payment on or before February 3, 2023
