Renovation of an educational facility in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Description: The scope of work generally consists of the following: 1.) Removal and replacement of existing HVAC and mechanical systems inclusive of boilers, rooftop units, steam heat, and controls. 2.) Installation of new chiller and ventilation systems. 3.) New 6" water service and fire sprinkler system. 4.) Complete renovation and rebuilding of 7 existing restrooms 5.) Removal and replacement of existing interior finishes. 6.) Structural reinforcing as required for rooftop units. 7.) Electrical work to provide new lighting and power for equipment updates. Additional Description: The project is identified in all correspondence as the Architects (EAPC) Project 20221431. Multiple prime bids will be received for General, Mechanical, and Electrical portions of the project with the General contract responsible for project coordination. Combined bids will also be received. All Work and materials are to be in accordance with the Bidding Documents which are on file in the office of the Grand Forks School District as well as the office of the Architect, EAPC, 3100 De Mers Avenue, Grand Forks, ND. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable to the interest of the City of Grand Forks.
