Calumet City 2022 Green Alley MWRD Partnership Project General Notice Calumet City (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Calumet City 2022 Green Alley MWRD Partnership Project Project No. 0211081.00. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Calumet City 2022 Green Alley MWRD Partnership Project, Project No. 0221081.00." Contracts for work under this bid will obligate the contractor and sub-contractors not to discriminate in employment practices and shall be in compliance with applicable State of Illinois Statutes pertaining to the selection of labor and the prevailing rate of wages. The Project includes the following Work: Reconstruction of 4 alleys totaling approximately 2,300 feet in length to convert alleys from gravel surface to permeable paver alleys. Work specifically will include the removal of existing aggregate, sidewalk/driveway apron removal, reconstruction of driveway aprons and alley reconstruction to provide a 42" concrete edging with 60" permeable paver interior. Work will also include installation of an observation well at each alley along with reconstruction of drainage structures and restoration. The Project has an expected completion date on or before December 31, 2022. Prospective Bidders shall register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Pre-bid Conference - will NOT be held.
