Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Paducah, Kentucky. Design plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of October 3, 2023, a design team has been identified. The Commonwealth of Kentucky Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration (DECA) on behalf of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System is seeking professional design services for the Site improvements and development of the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College’s Main Campus. This project is to replace, repair or resurface existing parking lots of the West Kentucky Community and Technical College Main Campus and add a sidewalk to connect the east and west ends of campus, improving accessibility for students with ambulatory issues. It is anticipated that some of the work and its funding will be accomplished by KCTC internally with existing construction master agreements. However, a significant portion of the work will need design and bidding for construction. The Consultant will be required to monitor the current construction market and to advise KCTCS on the appropriate time to bid the project to mitigate the negative effect of market conditions. The consultant may also be required to issue separate bid packages for segments of the work that are distinctly different.
