The Project is located on Route I-5, SR 41, 49, 63, 99, 155, 168, 178, 180, 190, 198, in Counties of Fresno, Kern, Madera, Mariposa and Tulare at various locations. The Project is to construct portions of the middle-mile broadband network within the State Right of Way. A more detailed description of the Project is contained in Appendix A. Final Date for Receipt of Proposers Questions-11/16/2022 One copy of each completed Disclosure of Potential Conflict of Interest Certification (Appendix D), one (1) copy of each completed Prequalification Questionnaire (Appendix E), and one (1) copy of Preconstruction Services Cost Proposal are to be provided in separate sealed packages and delivered with the original SOQ to the address above. If applicable, please refer to the RFQ for goal requirement and attachments for licensing requirements for this contract. The Department do not have a copy of the plan holders list of available contractors, nor does it have a way of identifying companies or entities that may have downloaded the project documents for teaming purposes. The Department will allow the use of text with font size smaller than 12-point for only charts, tables, exhibits, and other illustrative and graphical information. The Project is located on Route I-5, SR 41, 49, 63, 99, 155, 168, 178, 180, 190, 198, in Counties of Fresno, Kern, Madera, Mariposa and Tulare at various locations. The Project is to construct portions of the middle-mile broadband network within the State Right of Way. A more detailed description of the Project is contained in Appendix A. The estimated cost of this CMGC Project (in 2022 US dollars) is $132,000,000 for construction capital and $562,500 for Right of Way capital (including utility relocation). The Project is to construct portions of the middle-mile broadband network within the State Right of Way. The Project is anticipated to include the following scope: a) Approximately 247 miles of middle-mile broadband installation. b) Maintenance of high volume traffic on I-5, SR 41, 49, 63, 99, 155, 168, 178, 180, 190, and 198 and local roads during construction. c) Coordination with other construction projects within the corridor. d) Coordination with the cities, counties, public utilities, and property owners. e) Coordination with the local business and school during stage construction. f) Compliance with necessary environmental permits and authorizations, including noise permits from local agencies (if necessary), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit, etc. Anticipated Ranking Determination 1/25/2023 Anticipated Award of Preconstruction Services Contract 2/8/2023 Anticipated Notice to Proceed 3/2/2023 Request to Return Cost Proposal Deadline 3/23/2023 Request Debriefing Meeting Deadline 3/23/2023 Please contact Denetia Floyd-Smith at denetia.smith@dot.ca.gov for questions concerning this addendum.
