E-mail: Amanda.Greer@ky.gov PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Commonwealth of Kentucky Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration (DECA) on behalf of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System is seeking professional design services for the Life Safety Upgrades for the Owensboro Community and Technical College. The Kentucky Community and Technical College System and the Owensboro Community and Technical College endeavors to create a safe and secure learning environment. This project is a compilation of several life safety projects on the Main, Southeastern, and Downtown Campuses, with an average building age of 35. The fire alarm and safety systems at all campuses need to be upgraded as does the building sprinkler capability of the Southeastern Campus. There is a separate project underway that will replace the Fire Alarm Control Panels at a number of KCTCS College Buildings include several at the Owensboro Community and Technical College. This project will need to coordinate the work of this project with the work being undertaken by that separate project. The Consultant will be required to monitor the current construction market and to advise KCTCS on the appropriate time to bid the project to mitigate negative effects of market conditions. CONSULTANT TEAM COMPOSITION The consultant team shall include, at a minimum, the following professional design Disciplines/Expertise.
