Site work for a civil project in Owensboro, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work for this contract includes, installing 750' of new 6" water main and services, as well as rehabilitation of all effected construction areas. All questions must be submitted to Tonya Smith, 270-687-8440, tonya.smith@rwra.org. No Bid shall be received unless accompanied by a cashier's certified or bank check or a Bid Bond equal to five percent of the maximum Bid, payable to the Owner, as a guarantee that after a Bid is accepted, Bidder will execute and file the Agreement and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds, within 10 days of Notice of Award. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. All taxes are the responsibility of the successful Bidder unless specifically exempted in the Bidding Documents. All Bidders must comply with federal, state, and city Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations, which prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, physical or mental disability, or any other characteristic protected by law. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof.
