Site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in East Smithfield, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Contract includes structural design sealed by a Professional Engineer licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, computer aided drafting design files, structure fabrication and delivery to the two project sites located in Smithfield Township, Bradford County, PA. The superstructure must be designed and constructed to PennDOT specifications and load ratings. The two structures shall have a 60 feet clear span and 2 foot abutment placements for a total length of 64 linear feet. The Superstructure shall have a 22 foot road width and be designed to accommodate a poured in place concrete deck and guide rails. No prebid conference will be held for this bidding procedure. If the Township feels additional items or explanations need to be presented these will be in the form of a written notice attached to an email that will be provided to all bidders The materials and workmanship shall be in accordance with Standard Specifications of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Publication 408/2020 and all supplements thereto. Bidders are advised that PA prevailing wage rates apply to this project. Smithfield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to wave imformalities in the Bidding.
