The Procurement Department will receive proposals for providing labor and material to replace flooring in resident hall common areas. Remove and replace existing flooring including; covers on floor boxes, transitions and cove base in all areas highlighted on the 1 st , 2 nd & 3 rd floor plans. Contractor to provide carpet tiles and carpet tile adhesive for a direct glue installation as well as cove base, transitions and required material needed in the installation. Contractor to prepare floor and walls per the manufacturers attached specifications before installing new flooring, cove base and transitions as shown on attached floor plans. Contractor supplied flooring will be Mohawk First One Up II. Color by owner. Contractor supplied cove base to be installed so as to fit tightly against the walls including inside and outside corners and other changes in the wall angles. Contractor to caulk the end of the cove base where it terminates with caulk that matches cove color. Contractor supplied transitions to be T type rubber installed in metal track. Color to match cove base decided by Owner.There are approximately 261 transitions. Please include replacement of all transitions in your cost. If the existing transitions are re-usable please include the amount that will be credited back to Casper College for each transition that is re-used.
