As of October 15, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Pre qualifications of construction contractors for new construction of Fire Station 70. The City of Tarpon Springs is seeking SOQ for construction of the City of Tarpon Springs Fire Station 70 in accordance with the proposed construction drawings. This proposed facility will be a new facility constructed on a vacant lot near the existing Fire Station 70. The existing Fire Station 70 will remain in operation during construction and should not interfere with construction activities. The new facility will consist of three (3) vehicle bays and a fully functional operations facility designed for 24-hour operation including storage, bunking, dining, meeting, recreational, and administrative spaces. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids/proposals or parts of bids/proposals, waive minor informalities, and request rebids/resubmittals on the material or services described in the ITB/RFP. The City reserves the right to waive minor informalities.
