Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for an educational facility in Russellville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
Demolition & Asbestos Abatement - EEG Project Number 22-0111-136 Contract includes removal and proper disposal of all asbestos-containing materials known to exist at Young Hall on the ATU campus in Russellville, Arkansas. Demolition of the building will occur immediately after abatement. This project will be awarded to one general contractor. Bids from Arkansas General Contractors and ADEQ-certified Asbestos Contractors will be the only respondents considered. The project is scheduled to start as soon as contracts are signed and Bonds have been provided. This project does require the mandatory Notice of Intent to ADEQ and its associated waiting period. A bid bond in the amount of 5% shall accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to obtain Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the value of the contract if the bid amount is in excess of $20,000.00. All bidders shall conform to the requirements of Arkansas Code Annotated 17-25-101, Arkansas Contractors licensing law. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All contractors must be licensed on the day the project bids.
