Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Springfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for the addition of a 78,000-square-foot, four-story above grade, one-story below grade educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project is a +/-78,000 GBASF, four story (plus a basement) addition that will house research laboratories, student space, and offices. The addition will allow Temple Hall to have a more substantial, more welcoming presence to the most prominent campus adjacent to Hammons Fountain. Temple Hall has eight entrances, creating safety concerns. This new addition should help pull students into the building with a new main entry and minimal secondary entrances. The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. is soliciting bids from interested bidders including certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), and Service-Disabled Veteran Enterprises (SDVE) subcontractors to provide bids for the Missouri State University Temple Hall project in Springfield, MO.
