Renovation of an educational facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
It is Queen's intent to hire a General Contractor to oversee the entire project, and provide supervision while work is ongoing at the site of the work. This role may be fulfilled by a Mechanical Contractor in the role of General Contractor including all responsibilities. The project consists of replacing penthouse duct work and fume hood exhaust fans. Work will also include installation of a glycol heat recovery loop to an existing AHU including all pumps and ancillary equipment. Two basement fume hoods and room ventilation will also be replaced. Scope of work will include but is not limited to: -All architectural, mechanical, electrical, and related general contracting services for the work in the area(s) delineated by the project design documents. -Removal of existing exhaust air fans and ductwork within the penthouse. -Installation of 4 roof mounted exhaust fans and associated ductwork. -Replacement of 2 fume hoods and room ventilation valves -Installation of a glycol heat recovery loop and associated pumps and equipment. -Selective architectural demolition and construction to facilitate the mechanical and electrical work.
