The Principal items of work for the Del / Sleeping Valley Test Well will consist of: Drilling of a test well, test pumping for quantity, and obtaining water quality samples from the test well. The Kingston Town Board will consider awarding the contract at a future scheduled Board Meeting. To assure consideration, all proposals shall be made on the blank form of the proposal attached to these Specifications. The Principal items of work for the Del / Sleeping Valley Test Well will consist of: Drilling of a test well, test pumping for quantity, and obtaining water quality samples from the test well. No proposals will be considered unless accompanied by cashier's check, certified check or bid bonds in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the TOWN OF KINGSTON, LANDER COUNTY, NEVADA. No proposal will be accepted from a Contractor who is not licensed for this type of work in accordance with the applicable Nevada Revised Statutes and qualified by the Nevada State Contractor's Board prior to bidding of the job No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price for the contract. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted by Town of Kingston. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities in any bid or in the bidding process. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Day Engineering, P.O. Box 651, Eureka, Nevada 89316, and to be given consideration, must be received at least five (5) calendar days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Any resulting supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the specifications. All addenda items will be distributed by fax or e-mail to all prospective bidders (at the number or address furnished for such purposes). Failure of any bidder to receive any addendum shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under his bid as submitted. All addenda so issued shall become part of the contract documents and must be included in the bid submission
