Estimated Cost $12,261,642. This project is to develop an implementable solution for achieving full accessibility compliance and addressing critical repairs to a single building composed of two parts: a four-story classroom/laboratory wing, and a single-story, 558-seat auditorium. This Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in MGL Chapter 149A. DCAMM, through its Trade Contractor Prequalification Committee is prequalifying firms interested in providing public Trade Contractor services on this Public Construction Manager at Risk ("CM at Risk") Project for the construction of the Quinsigamond Community College, Surprenant Hall/Hebert Auditorium - Accessibility Improvements and Critical Repairs, Worcester, MA, through this RFQ process. Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications Forms from interested Trade Contractors are sought for the following fourteen (14) categories of work: Masonry ($25,000); Miscellaneous & Ornamental Iron ($60,000); Waterproofing, Dampproofing & Caulking ($110,000); Roofing & Flashing ($170,000); Glass & Glazing ($186,000); Tile ($125,000); Acoustical Tile ($400,000); Resilient Floors ($55,000); Painting ($100,000); Elevators ($75,000); Fire Protection Sprinkler System ($450,000); Plumbing ($700,000); HVAC ($2,100,000); Electrical ($1,300,000). Only prequalified firms will be permitted to submit bids for the categories of work in which they were prequalified. The Construction Manager is Bond Building Construction, Inc.
