Renovation of a mixed-use development in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The objective of this project is to develop an implementable solution for achieving full accessibility compliance and addressing critical repairs for Surprenant Building at Quinsigamond Community College (QCC) in Worcester. Request for Qualifications for One Trade Contractor Package: Elevators (Second Request), Provide two wheelchair lifts. 1. Lift enclosed in a drywall shaft with 90 degree entrance/exit. Travel distance approx 4'. 2. Lift not enclosed, travel distance approx. 8'. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate This is a Construction Management at Risk project under M.G.L. c. 149A. Interested firms MUST submit a Qualification Statement by the deadline and be prequalified if they are interested in later bidding on this project. DCAMM Certification applies for this process. This Request for Qualifications is the first part of a two-step process for Trade Contractors. First, interested firms must submit the Qualification Statement. Then, at a later date, only prequalified firms will be invited to submit bids for the category of works in which they were prequalified. This Qualification Statement is different from DCAMM Certification. All firms must be qualified for this project, even if they are already DCAMM Certified.
