Alvord Unified School District of Riverside County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District, invites sealed proposals for RFQP No. 2022-1021-02 Districtwide Fiber Optic Wide Area Network Services E-rate. Award of this RFQP is dependent on funding from the Federal E-rate Program. Respondent vendors/contractors are required to be in full compliance with all requirements issued by the Schools and Libraries Division of the Universal Service Corporation for participation in the E-rate Program. Each proposal must conform and be responsive to all requirements of the RFQP. Respondents must possess a valid and active Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) The terms and conditions of this RFQP are also pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20118.1. Any award under this RFQP shall be made to the acceptable one of the three lowest responsible respondent whose proposal meets the requirements stipulated in this RFQP. Bidders, in their own vehicles, may follow District representatives from the District Office to RCOE. Drive time between offices is approximate 30 minutes due to traffic. A map and parking instructions for RCOE will be provided at the District Office site walk. No interpretations or clarifications of the contract documents will be made at this time. The District intends to procure a high-speed leased lit fiber Wide Area Network (WAN) service to support select District facilities. The District intends to move its existing data center from 9 KPC Parkway to Riverside County Office of Education located at 3939 Thirteenth Street, Riverside, CA 92501. In conjunction with the start of this contract. The WAN technology will be comprised of point to point leased lit fiber. The District requires all WAN connectivity to result in an Ethernet (Layer 2) hand off at each site. The High-speed WAN connections will be required to allow connectivity back to the Data Center at the District Office from the campus sites.
