Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saint Charles, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Muegge Road Rehabilitation The Muegge Road pavement, from Mexico Rd. to Old Muegge, has deficiencies caused by spalling joints and cracks. It is estimated that 20% of the concrete pavement needs to be repaired or replaced. The existing sidewalk on the west side of the road will be replaced with an ADA compliant sidewalk and the shared use path on the east side will be extended from the shopping center entrance drive to Old Muegge Road with a new 10-foot wide concrete trail with variable width turf buffer. Signal loops along the corridor will be upgraded to video detection. Federal Aid No: STP: 7302(692) Location: Muegge Road Rehabilitation Proposed Improvement: Repair Existing road, replace existing sidewalk with ADA compliant sidewalk and extend existing shared use path from shopping center to Old Muegge.
