Renovation of a transportation facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a runway / taxiway.
The work generally consists of improving and expanding the Terminal Concourse and includes selective demolition, building construction including excavation, concrete work, masonry, metals, carpentry, thermal and moisture protection, doors and windows, interior finishes, plumbing, mechanical, geothermal, fire protection, solar photovoltaic (PV), electrical, communications and life safety and associated sitework. Prospective bidders are hereby advised that the quantities indicated herein are approximate and are subject to change per Section 40 of the General Provisions 06215128.01 All questions must be received no later than 12:00 PM local time, November 29, 2022. Questions received after this date may not be answered. The OWNER has established a DBE contract goal of 0.87 percent for this contract. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 1.7 % Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% 20000696.00 The bidder should not include sales tax in the bid. Items included in the Project are exempt from State of Iowa and Local Option Sales and Use Taxes. Contractor is responsible for obtaining the exemption or for applying for reimbursement for such taxes paid.
