Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Jasper, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
The City of Jasper reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities in awarding this bid to the lowest responsive bidder. All questions related to the bid should be directed to Danny Trotter of CCR Architecture & Interiors at 205-324-8864. A bid bond for five percent (5%) of bid must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith. Bidders are required to be licensed in accordance with State Law. All contractors are required to list license number on the outside of bid envelope. The owner reserves the right to hold Bid Proposals for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bid Proposals and no bid may be withdrawn during this period. In the event of any conflict between any provision of this Advertisement for Bids and the provisions of the Instructions to Bidders, Section 00100 of the bid documents, the provisions of this Advertisement for Bids will control. This will be a federally assisted contract with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules and regulations as required. Attention is called to the fact that Davis Bacon rules and wage requirements apply to this project and that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, creed, sex, or national origin. Partial sets will not be issued. Additionally, Bid Documents will be available for examination at Jasper City Hall.
