The requirements and specifications for the removal and replacement of approximately 427 linear feet of six-foot-tall wrought iron fencing including posts, footings, and (2) sets of 6-foot-wide double access gates at LMD 128 located at Spanish Broom Drive & Zinnia: o CONTRACTOR shall coordinate a pre job meeting at the project site with the Landscape Superintendent or appointed designee at least five working days prior to commencing any work under the terms of this agreement. o CONTRACTOR shall contact DIG ALERT, secure a DIG ALERT ticket, and verify all underground utility markings prior to beginning any excavation. o CONTRACTOR shall secure a "No Fee" encroachment permit from the City of Palmdale Engineering Department. o CONTRACTOR shall cover and make safe all excavations prior to leaving the project site. NO EXCAVATIONS MAY BE LEFT OPEN OVERNIGHT! o CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for securing project site with temporary fencing and/or caution tape and barricades. o CONTRACTOR will be responsible for any/all damages to any/all private and/or City infrastructure, underground or overhead utilities, and/or any structure, fixture, improvement, and/or appurtenance caused by Contractor and/or resulting from Contractor's performance of work. o CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for design and implementation of all traffic control and safety delineation required at the project site as per the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices latest revision.
