Renovation of a mixed-use development in Wilton, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 139,300-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
The proposed project consists of HVAC and Lighting upgrades in the Middle School Classrooms and the Media Center. All governmental codes and ordinances that are applicable and in effect at the time and location of this work are hereby referenced as an integral part of the specification to establish minimum standards of design detail, materials, and workmanship. Extra payment will not be allowed for work or changes required by local code enforcement authorities and/or utility companies. This is not to preclude the establishment of non-conflicting higher standards as may be specified herein and/or indicated on the drawings. In case of conflict between any of the standards established herein and a governmental code or ordinance, refer to the Architect/Engineer and obtain instructions before proceeding with the work involved. B. Apply for, obtain, and pay for required permits and certificates of inspection C. Particular attention is directed to: 1. National Electrical Code 2. Local electric wiring ordinances 3. IEEE National Electrical Safety Code
