Site work and paving for a civil project in Wilton, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Removal and replacement of the existing culvert on 3rd Street just east of the Maple Street intersection along with the removal and replacement of water main, guardrail, and pavement. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the lowa Code in an amount equal to 5 percent of the total amount of the bid. Work on the improvements shall commence no later than April 22, 2024. Work shall be fully completed on or before 30 working days. Damages in the amount of $500 per day will be assessed for each day work remains incomplete. The City of Wilton reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
