Reconfigure existing City of Folsom Permit Center which includes demolition, casework, wall construction. In accordance with the Contract Documents issued by the City of Folsom, bids must be submitted on printed forms supplied by the Police Department enclosed in a sealed envelope marked: SEALED PROPOSALS FOR: Folsom CDD Permit Center Contractor's License Requirement: Class B-General Building Contractor No Pre-Proposal Conference will be held. City affirmatively identifies this project as a "public work" as that term is defined by Labor Code Section 1720, and the project is, therefore, subject to prevailing wages under Labor Code Section 1771. No contractor or subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal pursuant to Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work unless currently registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. It shall not be a violation of this section for an unregistered contractor to submit a bid that is authorized by Section 7029.1 of the Business and Professions Code or by Sections 10164 or 20103.5 of the Public Contract Code, provided the contractor is registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 at the time the contract is awarded.
