Villa Capri Subdivision Wastewater Pump Station and Waterline Replacement - The City of Prairie View, Texas (the "City") invites the submittal of responses to this Request for Bids (RFB) from qualified firms interested in providing construction services in connection with the construction of the Villa Capri Subdivision Wastewater Pump Station and Waterline Replacement. The 6-inch waterline connection at the north end of Marie Antoinette is on the north side of Old Houston road and will be installed using a tapping sleeve on the existing line. The crossing of Old Houston Road will be through an open cut rather than tunnelling . Location: The facility will be located in the Villa Capri Subdivision, on Marie Antoinette Drive, Prairie View, Texas 77446. The City anticipates the following items will be included in the scope of the Project: Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to construct a fully functional electric powered submersible duplex pump station. The City has installed a circular wet well and a 4-inch force main which shall be used to complete the project. This project is a performance specification project. Each proposer shall provide a complete list of all components to be provided based on the equipment available as standard equipment The following represents a summary of the proposed improvements: o Villa Capri Wastewater Pump Station and Waterline Replacement o Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to construct, install, provide start up and training for a duplex pump Wastewater Pump Station and Waterline Replacement. o Contractor shall utilize the existing wet well and force main previously installed by the City of Prairie View. All equipment will conform to these existing facilities. Any modifications will be included in the lump sum price, if required. o Miscellaneous appurtenances necessary for to complete the Project. Any modifications will be included in the lump sum price, if required. o All other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project. o Replacement of 5,669 ft of 6-inch PVC pipe o Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to construct replacement of 6-inch pipe fire hydrant, valves, and the associated services in Villa Capri Subdivision, but not limited to excavation, backfill and granular bedding for pipes, and concrete thrust blocks. Any modifications will be included in the lump sum price, if required. o All other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project.
