Renovation of a detention facility in Bolivia, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Brunswick County is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors for providing and installing complete wiring and direct digital controls, as needed, at its Detention Center and Law Enforcement Center ("Facility") located at 70 Stamp Act Drive NE, Bolivia, NC 28422. The Facility currently utilizes a Delta Controls direct digital controls ("DDC") system, which has become obsolete and beyond repair. A new DDC system will be used to monitor and adjust temperature and humidity controls at the Facility and must be compatible with the existing network. Questions may be directed to heather.murray@brunswickcountync.gov by the dates provided in the complete RFP. Please refer to the complete RFP for more information. Brunswick County has established the following objectives for this project. Any changes to the specifications or Scope of Work will be made in the form of an Addendum to this Request for Proposals that will be provided to all known prospective contractors and posted on the Brunswick County website. Contractors are responsible for ensuring they have all addenda. Brunswick County may negotiate and refine the final Scope of Work with the selected contractor. Brunswick County reserves the right to negotiate additional services with the selected contractor at any time after the initial contract award.
