The City of San Bernardino Municipal Water Department (SBMWD) is seeking proposals from qualified manufactureres to provide a new drive mechanism for one 35 diameter circular Dissolved Air Floatation Thickener (DAFT) tank. This proposal shall include the removal of the existing drive mechanism and the installation of the new drive mechanism by either the manufacturer or their approved contractor. The Department currently has three functional DAFT units that are part of the Departments Solids Handling portion of the treatment process. The drive needing replacement is on the tank for DAFT #2. This project is also subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The City of San Bernardino Municipal Water Department will not accept a bid nor will it contract or subcontract without proof of the contractor or subcontractors current registration to perform public works pursuant to section 1725.5. Please include proof of DIR registration for contractor and subcontractor's along with your general attachments. The bidder is solely responsible for on time submission of their electronic bid.
