This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. The Government will not pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information. Do not submit cost proposals or cost information. A market survey is being conducted in order to make acquisition decisions about this future project and to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. All responses from interested and capable sources submitted will be considered. Scope of the Proposed Acquisition: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a project that generally includes installing an approximately 2,900 square foot Resident Engineer's Office, associated site utilities, and miscellaneous utilities located at the Montgomery Locks and Dam, Ohio River, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. The major features of the Project generally involves the following: Furnish and install temporary office trailers to serve as a Resident Engineer's Office. Extending water, sanitary, electrical, and communication utilities to the Resident Engineer's Office from existing onsite utilities. Installation of a fire protection system, consisting of a dry hydrant and intake pipeline. Installation of a future dry hydrant and intake pipeline for concrete batching water supply purposes. Pavement restoration resulting from utility extensions. The work is to be performed entirely on Government property, with the majority of the work taking place on the existing Esplanade. The Montgomery Locks and Dam will remain in operations while work is being completed. Disposal of construction waste material will be disposed of at commercially permitted facilities licensed to accept waste or recyclable materials as applicable. The anticipated solicitation date for the project is the first or second quarter of calendar year 2023. Contract duration is estimated at 365 calendar days. In accordance with FAR 36.204 (f), the estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
