Renovation of a mixed-use development in Ethan, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 24,000-square-foot educational facility.
As of November 23, 2022 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 12, 2022. The Ethan School Board of Education will receive bids for replacement of approximately 17,500 square feet of its existing roof. Bids will be received for the following contract: Ethan School Roof Replacement, Ethan School District 17-1, Ethan, South Dakota All bids and contracts shall be made in accordance with, and subject to SDCL 5-18A, 5-21, 5-22 and the provisions set forth in the specifications. Roof replacement includes approximately 17,500 square feet of the existing roof. Current roof system is made up a layer ballast (rock), membrane, a top layer of fiber board, and any insulation that is damaged/deteriorated.. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to labor, materials, products and supplies found or produced within the State of South Dakota A resident bidder is allowed a preference as against the bid of any bidder from any other state enforcing or having a preference for resident bidders, equal to such preference. There will not be a formal Prebid for this project. The School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities.
