Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Lynden, Washington. Design plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

As of July 5, 2024, this project is in the design phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. The City of Lynden Public Works Department is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from professional architect/engineering firms, licensed under the laws of the State of Washington, to design a renovation of the Lynden Community Center located at 401 Grover Street, Lynden. Qualified firms must have experience preparing municipal bid documents (plans, specifications, and cost estimates) and preference will be given to firms with design experience with commercial building additions that include seismic retrofitting. The City of Lynden reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any irregularities and/or informalities. The City of Lynden is an equal opportunity employer and encourages participation in this RFQ by all interested firms; including disadvantaged, minority-owned, women-owned and emerging small business consultant firms. The selection of a consultant for this project will be made from qualified firms responding to this RFQ. All firms responding will be evaluated, scored and ranked on the selection criteria. The City intends to interview and select from the highest ranked firms.
