Bids must be submitted on the Bid form provided by the District and included in the bid documents. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Prime contractors must add the DIR Registration Number for each of their listed subcontractors to the Designation of Subcontractors list AND submit a certification of registration for their own firm and those of their listed subcontractors upon request by the District. The successful bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a separate payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount.
