Bidders planning on mailing Sealed Bids should be aware that delivery may not be guaranteed. This project involves the replacement of an existing sluice gate with a new segmented weir gate at the Conesus Lake Flood Control structure and all related work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Only Bidders receiving bid documents from the Issuing Office (electronic or printed) will be allowed to submit a bid to be considered for award. A pre-bid conference will NOT be held. Only written Requests For Information (RFI) will be accepted. RFIs will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. (Local Time) on November 7, 2022, at the office of the Engineer to the attention of Zach Anderson via email: ZAnderson@CPLteam.com. If necessary, an Addendum will be issued by 12:00 p.m. (Local Time) on November 8, 2022, from the office of the Engineer. Bid security is required. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Executive Orders 11246 and 11375, which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. The successful bidder must be an equal opportunity employer, must meet all appropriate State and Federal standards, and comply with all relevant governmental regulations. New York State certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) firms are encouraged to respond. This project is funded by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC). Prospective bidders should review the requirements included in the contract documents. For purposes of this procurement, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) has established an overall goal of up to 20% for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) participation. Bidders will be required to make pre-bid Good Faith Efforts to comply. Bidders shall provide pre-bid MWBE solicitation documentation at the Owner/ Engineers request. All bids shall be binding for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The Town of Livonia reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
