Site work for a water / sewer project in Santee, California. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Per the owner, as of April 15, 2024, this project is 90% design and it is anticipated that the construction contract will be prepared for bidding in Winter/Spring of 2025. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............ Padre Dam Municipal Water District (Padre Dam or District) is requesting proposals from qualified professional engineering consultants to design the Magnolia Avenue and SR-67 Sewer Capacity Improvements (Project). The main important aspects of the Project are to determine adequate size of the collection system to convey dry weather and peak wet weather flows by utilizing the Districts collection system hydraulic model and to perform the design work based on the findings. The design and construction phases for the Project are budgeted in the Districts Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for Fiscal Years (FY) 2023-2027. The selected firm should be prepared to begin work immediately upon award of contract. All questions regarding this Request for Proposal shall be directed in writing to: Kyehee (Kay) Kim, P.E. at kkim@padre.org. All inquiries shall be received by 2 pm on December 9, 2022. Questions and responses will be posted to Padre Dams website. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
