Renovation of a fire / police facility in Galesburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites sealed bids for the Galesburg Police Department locker room renovation located in the Public Safety Building in the City of Galesburg. Work includes renovation work of existing building located at 150 S Broad Street, Galesburg, Illinois. See Summary of Work for more information. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for this project. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. The submission of the bid by the offeror in response to this Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgement of and an agreement by the Offeror that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570). Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The contract award shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg; price and other factors considered. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids.
