A Job Order Contract is an indefinite quantity contract pursuant to which the Contractor may perform an ongoing series of individual Projects at different locations throughout the District. The bid documents include a Construction Task Catalog(R) containing construction tasks with preset Unit Prices. All Unit Prices are based on local labor, material and equipment prices and are for the direct cost of construction. The District's receipt of such funds, and ability to compensate the Contractor in connection with the Contract using such funding, is conditioned upon the Contractor's compliance with certain mandatory terms and conditions. As such, the Contractor and each of its subcontractors must comply with all the terms and conditions set forth within the General and Supplementary Conditions included in the project manual. he Term of the Contract is one year. All Job Orders issued during the term of this Contract shall be valid and in effect notwithstanding that the Detailed Scope of Work may be performed, associated Supplemental Job Orders may be issued, payments may be made, and the guarantee period may continue, after such period has expired. Contractor shall provide for each subcontractor the DIR PWC100 contractor/subcontractor registration number or registration page confirming the subcontractors' registration with DIR. All bids must be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check or bid bond made payable to East Bay Regional Park District in the sum of twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000). The check or bonds shall be given as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a written contract within ten (10) calendar days after being requested to do so and will be considered as the stipulated amount of liquidated damages in the event the bidder is unable to or refuses to execute a contract for the work.
