The Purpose of This ITB is to Establish a Contract for the Furnishing and Placement of Boulders and Provide Traffic Control for the Benefit of ODOT. The Work Contemplated Under This Contract Includes All Labor, Materials, Transportation, Equipment and Services for, and Incidental to, the Completion of All Construction Work in Connection With the Project Described in the Contract Documents. Deadline for Award Protest 5 Calendar Days After Issuance of the Notice of Intent to Award. Posting of Intent to Award Within 5 Business Days After the Bid Opening Date Identified Electronically. Final Completion: December 16, 2022 State Prevailing Wage Rates (PWRS) Apply to This ITB and the Resulting Contract. See ITB Section E for Boli Related Requirements and Applicable Wage Rates. Liquidated Damages : Liquidated Damages Will Apply to the Contract Resulting From This ITB for Failure to Complete the Project by the Final Completion Date, and for Lane Closures Beyond the Allowed Limits. Each Offer Shall Be Accompanied by (Submitted via Upload in Oregonbuys, Except as Provided in Section D.4) a Certified or Cashier's Check, Irrevocable Letter of Credit Issued by an Insured Institution as Defined in Ors 706.008, or Bid Bond Payable to the State of Oregon in an Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount of the Offer. The Selected Bidder Shall Furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond Each in the Total Amount (100%) of the Awarded Contract Price, Executed in Favor of the State of Oregon, to Ensure Faithful Performance of the Contract and Payment for Labor and Materials.
